Created more than 150 years ago, this garden offers year-round colour, with a formal parterre, lake and rockery with waterfall. The large herbaceous border has a strong emphasis on foliage colours. The 19th-century viaduct provides a dramatic entrance to the herbaceous border and lawn area, giving a sense of walking into a great hall within the garden.
