Restored to its original Georgian structure and splendour, this garden is divided into six sections with wide paths, a well and sundial. It’s a haven for wildlife, beautiful and tranquil in every season. Along the walls and in the centre of the flowerbeds are trained fruit trees, ranging from apples and pears to figs, greengages and apricots. The beds contain trimmed shrubs and perennials, interspersed with flowers and bulbs.
Due to ongoing rule changes in response to the coronavirus pandemic, public gardens may experience unforeseen restrictions and opening hours. To avoid disappointment we advise you contact gardens directly before visiting. Please see the individual garden’s website. If you can’t find the information you require, please call the garden directly. You’ll find website links and telephone numbers on the individual garden pages in this online directory
