Former home of WWT founder Sir Peter Scott, this idyllic location on the Severn Estuary is a haven for birds and other wildlife. The ponds, salt marshes, reed beds, pastures and trees are beautiful in every season, and provide tranquil walks to help you get closer to nature. New attractions (from late July) include a Waterscapes Aviary and Living Wetland Theatre. You can also explore the RBC Rain Garden (an RHS Chelsea Flower Show winner), which is full of innovative ways to cope with droughts or deluges.
Important update
With the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, gardens in the 2-for-1 directory are beginning to open.
To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, many have special measures in place, including pre-booking and limiting the number of visitors.
Before visiting a garden, please contact the garden directly to determine their opening status and any restrictions that may apply.
Please note: we’re unable to keep all individual 2-for-1 garden pages updated, but we will publish the latest details that we have on our weekly updates page from week commencing Monday 8 June, 2020.
