Developed continually since the 1920s, this 10-acre garden sits in a peaceful valley on the edge of Dartmoor. Swathes of naturalised summer planting merge into a Cretan cottage garden and wildflower meadow. The 16th-century thatched barn is surrounded by densely planted long borders that overflow with colour across the seasons. In autumn, the acer glade is a blaze of fiery hues.
With the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, gardens in the 2-for-1 directory are beginning to open.
To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, many have special measures in place, including pre-booking and limiting the number of visitors.
Before visiting a garden, please contact the garden directly to determine their opening status and any restrictions that may apply.
Please note: we’re unable to keep all individual 2-for-1 garden pages updated, but we will publish the latest details that we have on our weekly updates page from week commencing Monday 8 June, 2020.
