Trewidden Garden is a beautiful example of how rare and exotic plants can thrive in the temperate Cornish climate.
Follow the maze of meandering paths through this tranquil 15-acre garden to see exotic and rare plants that thrive in the mild climate. Among the many delights along the way are magnificent magnolias, camellias, rhododendrons, a tree fern dell with large specimens planted over 100 years ago, a pond, champion trees and a restored walled garden. Look out for the famous ‘Trewidden Belle’ magnolia (worth a visit in late February, when it’s at its best).
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
