The castle’s 25 acres of grounds offer enjoyment in every season, with a courtyard rose garden, orangery, lake, woodland walks and a conceptual garden featuring an Egyptian-themed grass maze. Spring displays of daffodils, cherry blossom and bluebells are followed by summer-flowering peonies, lavenders, roses and more. The lawns are ideal for picnics.

Always take your 2-for-1 Gardens card with you. If you’ve booked your tickets under the 2-for-1 Gardens offer, show your card on the day to validate the booking. Please don’t make multiple bookings or share your 2-for-1 Gardens card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim. You may use the 2 for 1 printed or digital card for admission only once per garden, per day. You cannot use the printed card and digital card at the same venue on the same day.
