Alan Titchmarsh demonstrates how to plant bulbs in turf for a natural-looking display in spring. He recommends two different methods – the first for small bulbs such as crocuses and snowdrops, the second for larger bulbs such as daffodils. With small bulbs, he shows you how to lift the turf, how deep to set the bulbs, how far apart to plant, and which way up. With larger bulbs, he explains how and why to dig individual holes, how deep they need to be, and what shape to make the clumps so they look natural.
