BBC Gardeners’ World Live postponed to 2021

A message from our partners on the BBC Gardeners’ World Live show team:

It is with great regret that River Street Events has taken the decision that, as a result of the evolving Covid-19 situation, it is no longer possible for us to hold BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2020 (18-21 June, NEC Birmingham).

We have been following UK Government guidelines and working with advice from Public Health England and other organisations as the situation has evolved and, given the latest announcements with regards to mass gatherings, it is now with much sadness that we have taken the decision that we will need to postpone the event to 2021. The safety and wellbeing of our staff, exhibitors, visitors, partners and contractors is of the utmost importance to us, and the protection and prevention of harm to all involved is vital.

Ticket holders, exhibitors and sponsors will be contacted directly within the next 14 days with regards to transferring bookings or refunds as required.

We are sincerely sorry that we have had to take this incredibly difficult course of action.

Thank you for your patience and support at this time. Take care and keep well during these unprecedented times.

Travel Editions

  • Meet Rachel de Thame on our Cotswolds tour (June 2020)
  • Gardens of Provence with Adam Frost (July 2020)
  • Meet Monty in Holland (September 2020)

Travel Editions have advised:

Further to Government advice and discussions with Gardeners World, we have taken the decision to cancel all tours until the end of 2020. The tours have not got sufficient numbers to make viable as yet and it is unlikely that they will receive the extra bookings required given the current circumstances. Equally, the safety and well-being of our clients and staff is our number one priority and the current situation has left us no alternative as there is little prospect of us being able to operate them safely. We are very sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience that this will cause, but we are pleased to be able to offer customers due to travel with us during that time the following options:

• You can transfer your holiday to any alternative date or tour in 2020 or 2021. To encourage you to take this option, a discount of 10% on the basic price of any tour that you choose.
• Receive a credit for future travel.

• Receive a full refund. These will be processed on an ongoing basis, by the end of July at the latest.

A member of our team will be contacting you to discuss your options, but if you do need to get in touch you can email us at tours@traveleditions.co.uk

We will be working through tours on a date by date basis so please bear with us whilst we do our best to keep up with this administrative procedure.

We are working on an exciting new programme for 2021 which we will unveil in the coming weeks and months.
