BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine’s 2-for-1 Entry Card & Guide 2020

Our 2-for-1 Entry Card & Guide 2020 is currently included with the May issue, still available to buy online. With the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, many gardens in the 2-for-1 directory have now re-opened, however to ensure the safety of visitors and staff, many have special measures in place, including pre-booking and limitations on the number of visitors.

Please see our 2-for-1 Gardens visiting status page for more information on which gardens you’re now able to visit. Please note: We’ve not heard from all participating 2-for-1 gardens. Before visiting a garden, please contact the garden directly to determine their opening status and any restrictions that may apply.

Travel Editions

  • Meet Rachel de Thame on our Cotswolds tour (June 2020)
  • Gardens of Provence with Adam Frost (July 2020)
  • Meet Monty in Holland (September 2020)

Travel Editions have advised:

Further to Government advice and discussions with Gardeners World, we have taken the decision to cancel all tours until the end of 2020. The tours have not got sufficient numbers to make viable as yet and it is unlikely that they will receive the extra bookings required given the current circumstances. Equally, the safety and well-being of our clients and staff is our number one priority and the current situation has left us no alternative as there is little prospect of us being able to operate them safely. We are very sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience that this will cause, but we are pleased to be able to offer customers due to travel with us during that time the following options:

• You can transfer your holiday to any alternative date or tour in 2020 or 2021. To encourage you to take this option, a discount of 10% on the basic price of any tour that you choose.

• Receive a credit for future travel.

• Receive a full refund. These will be processed on an ongoing basis, by the end of July at the latest.

A member of our team will be contacting you to discuss your options, but if you do need to get in touch you can email us at

We will be working through tours on a date by date basis so please bear with us whilst we do our best to keep up with this administrative procedure.

We are working on an exciting new programme for 2021 which we will unveil in the coming weeks and months.
