Join our Associate Editor David Hurrion for a Masterclass on the creative and practical methods for making wreaths, garlands, table decorations and other living displays using materials from your own garden in this festive event. This hour-long Masterclass Online (with extra time for questions) will cover the following topics:

- Inspiring ideas for wreaths, garlands and living decorations
- Choosing suitable materials
- When and how best to collect materials from the garden, including some basic pruning to encourage healthy plant healing and re-growth

- Wreath making – different frames to use and make, processing and binding materials
- Basics for other decorations, binding garlands, attaching ribbons, arranging vases
- Aftercare of natural materials, including where best to position wreaths and garlands to avoid heat exposure, wind – if outdoors, plus dismantling and recycling of materials post Christmas
