Grow Abutilon ‘Bella Red’ in moist but well-drained soil in a conservatory or sunny, sheltered spot – against a sheltered south- or west-facing wall is ideal. If growing outside, propagate new plants from summer cuttings, as insurance against winter damage, especially since the shrubs can be short-lived. Trim back after flowering.
