Adonis brevistyla is native to Bhutan, Tibet and China, where it's typically found growing on open slopes. It's a pretty, alpine plant with fern-like leaves and large, bowl-shaped, brilliant white flowers with a bright yellow centre. It's ideal for growing in rockeries, at the front of borders and in containers.
For best results grow Adonis brevistyla in moist but well-drained, neutral soil in partial shade.
