Also known as 'Fairy Queen', Clematis 'Crystal Fountain' bears large, double flowers with a dramatic ruff of stamens, in lavender-purple. It's a compact and floriferous clematis, so is ideal for small gardens and growing in pots up a central obelisk.

Flowering in May and June, then sometimes again in September, Clematis 'Crystal Fountain' falls into Pruning Group Two. There's no real need to prune, but you may wish to tidy up stems and prune back in spring.
