Daucus carota 'Amsterdam Forcing 3' is an early maturing carrot, bearing delicious, blunt-ended roots. It's one of the earliest carrots suitable for forcing outdoors or growing under cloches to extend the season. The carrots develop a good orange colour early on, and have an excellent sweet flavour.

Sow Daucus carota 'Amsterdam Forcing 3' seed in frames or under cloches, in well-prepared, stone-free soil from February. Continue to sow every fortnight for a continuous crop until autumn, in rows 30cm apart. Cover seedlings with horticultural fleece to deter carrot fly.
