Endemic to the Canary island of La Palma, Echium webbii bears tall spikes of brilliant, violet-blue flowers, beloved by bees. It’s perfect for growing in a sunny, sheltered spot or sunny patio. Biennial, it flowers in its second year.
Grow Echium webbii in well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot. Protect from heavy frosts or move indoors in autumn. Be careful when handling as the sap can irritate the skin and all parts of the plant are toxic if eaten.
