Acidic / Clay / Heavy / Moist / Well Drained / Light / Sandy
Enkianthus are easy, trouble free shrubs for acidic soil. They're grown for their masses of delicate bell-shaped flowers that appear from mid-spring to early summer and their fiery autumnal colours. Enkianthus are ideal shrubs for an open woodland garden or shady border.
Enkianthus campanulatus 'Victoria' has pendant, creamy yellow bells, tinged pink, from late spring to early summer. For best results grow Enkianthus campanulatus 'Victoria' in fertile, moist but well-drained, acidic soil in sun or partial shade. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it the Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
