Euphorbia cyparissias is a low growing, deciduous spurge, which makes an attractive ground-cover plant. With short running stems, narrow foliage and heads of lime-green flowers, it's perfect for edging paths and growing at the front of a sunny border. It also makes an attractive cut flower.

'Fens Ruby' bears upright stems and purple-flushed, lime-green leaves, contrasting with clusters of bright yellow flowers in summer. For best results grow Euphorbia cyparissias 'Fens Ruby' in full sun and deadhead spent blooms after flowering.

Always wear gloves when working with euphorbias. The milky sap is a skin irritant.
