Ferocactus macrodiscus v. multiflorus is a medium sized barrel cactus with blue-green flesh and curved, red or yellow spines. Flowers are a delicate pink. Endemic to Mexico, it’s best grown in temperate climates as a houseplant, where it makes an interesting feature in the conservatory or windowsill.

Grow Ferocactus macrodiscus v. multiflorus in cactus compost in a sunny spot. Water sparingly and allow the compost to dry out completely in winter.
