Chalky / Alkaline / Clay / Heavy / Moist / Well Drained / Light / Sandy
Geums are familiar favourites in herbaceous borders, although they also work well in larger rock gardens, developing into neat dense clumps of restrained foliage. They need a little space for their flowers, which tend to be produced on long, spreading stems. Geum 'Sea Breeze' produces yellow-centered flowers in shades of red and yellow, from May to June.
For best results, grow Geum 'Sea Breeze' in a cooler part of the garden, in well-drained soil. Divide geums every two to three years.
