Hemerocallis 'Lenox'

Daylilies, Hemerocallis, bear masses of elegant blooms for weeks on end, although individual flowers last only one day. They're ideal for growing in a sunny border and make excellent cut flowers (the developing flower buds are just as attractive as the blooms themselves). In milder regions their strap-like foliage is evergreen, which is excellent for hiding unsightly spring bulbs after they have flowered.

Hemerocallis ‘Lenox’ is a beautiful variety, with delicate, cream-white flowers with a maroon eyezone and pale green-yellow throat. Blooming early in the morning, it’s extremely floriferous and easy to grow.

For best results grow Hemerocallis ‘Lenox’ in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Cut back after flowering. Divide clumps every three to five years.
