Lathyrus odoratus 'King-Sized Navy Blue' is one of the darkest blue sweet peas around. It bears up to five large, wavy blooms on long, slender stems, making it an excellent cut flower. It also has a wonderful fragrance. Like other sweet peas, Lathyrus odoratus 'King-Sized Navy Blue' is perfect for training up an obelisk or trellis in the garden, or even growing in a pot on the patio.
For best results grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Feed fortnightly with a high-potash fertiliser when in bloom, and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
