New Zealand tea tree, Leptospermum scoparium, is a medium-sized shrub with arching shoots and incredible flowers that are extremely attractive to bees. Leptospermum scoparium 'Red Damask' is a particularly striking cultivar, bearing double flowers that are a rich pink-red colour. The deep-green foliage is pleasantly aromatic and its compact habit makes it one of the best choices for container growing.

Grow Leptospermum scoparium 'Red Damask' in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun, ideally with the added protection of a sunny wall.
