Osteospermum are grown for their daisy-like flowers, which are produced all summer long. Osteospermum ecklonis has beautiful white blooms, which are deep blue on the reverse of the petals, with a dark blue centre.

For best results grow Osteospermum ecklonis in a sheltered spot in well-drained soil in full sun. In mild areas it can be grown in the border as a perennial, but in frost prone areas it's best treated as an annual – alternatively grow in pots which you can move indoors in autumn.
