Smaller than Alchemilla mollis, Alchemilla venosa has finely textured, blue-green foliage that beautifully sets off the clusters of tiny yellow-green flowers in summer. It’s perfect for growing in a variety of situations, including lining a path or edging a border or pond. It works well when used to underplant alliums and roses.

Grow Alchemilla venosa in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Cut back spent blooms after flowering to promote basal growth.
