Holder of the Royal Horticultural Society's prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM), Euonymus fortunei 'Silver Queen' is a versatile evergreen shrub, bearing dark green leaves with pretty pink-white margins. Inconspicuous pale green flowers appear in summer, sometimes followed by pale pink fruits. It makes an excellent specimen shrub in a mixed or shrub border, and can also be clipped into a formal hedge.

Grow Euonymus fortunei 'Silver Queen' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Cut back by one-third the first spring after planting to encourage bushy growth, and remove any plain green reverted stems whenever you find them.
