Galtonia candicans is a bulbous perennial, bearing a prolific display of waxy, white flowers which dangle from upright stems. Flowers have a gentle fragrance. They look fantastic planted en masse in drifts in a sunny border, and makes a good cut flower.

Grow Galtonia candicans in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. In cooler regions lift them like gladioli to overwinter, or grow in containers which you can move indoors in autumn.
