Bearing fragrant cream flowers with a plum eye and green throat, Hemerocallis ‘Piano Man’ is a wonderful daylily, both in the ornamental border and the vase.

A particularly floriferous variety, Hemerocallis ‘Piano Man’ has masses of elegant blooms for weeks on end, although individual flowers last only one day. In milder regions its strap-like foliage is evergreen, which is excellent for hiding unsightly spring bulbs after they've flowered.

For best results grow Hemerocallis ‘Piano Man’ in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Cut back after flowering. Divide clumps every three to five years.
