A cross between heucheras and tiarellas, heucherellas have brightly coloured foliage. They thrive in shade and make great groundcover plants, and some have a trailing habit and can be grown in hanging baskets. While plants are mainly grown for their foliage, inconspicuous flowers add to their charm.

Heucherella ‘Golden Zebra’ is an unusual heucherella, with feathery, golden foliage with red central markings. It’s an ideal choice for a container on a shady patio, and also makes excellent ground cover. Creamy white flowers are borne in spring and summer.
