Miscanthus sinensis 'Cabaret' is a tall-growing grass, perfect for growing at the back of the border, where it forms a good backdrop to shorter growing grasses and perennials. The long, ribbon-like foliage is streaked with white.

In late summer Miscanthus sinensis 'Cabaret' produces long, attractive plumes of silvery flowerheads that last well into winter. For best results grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Like all miscanthus, clumps will benefit from being cut back hard in the spring to encourage new growth.
