Prunus 'Pink Shell' is an ornamental cherry with a small, spreading habit. In spring its light green young leaves contrast beautifully with delicate, single, pale pink blooms. Its blooms are a magnet for early pollinators.

Like all deciduous prunus, Prunus 'Pink Shell' enjoys a moist but well-drained soil and thrives in a sheltered site in full sun. Propagate by grafting or softwood cuttings given bottom heat. Remove damaged, diseased or crossing branches in midsummer.
