Named after Gertrude Jekyll's garden in Surrey, Rosa 'Munstead Wood' is a classic english shrub rose, bearing dark crimson-red blooms with an incredible fruity fragrance, over a long period.

It's ideal for growing at the front of a border or in more of a formal rose bed.

Rosa 'Munstead Wood' has a bushy, spreading habit, and shows good disease resistance. The young leaves are red-bronze, maturing to mid-green. For best results, grow in full sun to partial shade, in heavy, nutrient-rich soil. Mulch annually with well-rotted manure or compost.
