Rosa 'Red Hat Lady' is a compact, low-growing, mound-forming floribunda bush rose. It was named after the Red Hat Society, an international society of women approaching 50.

The compact bush has glossy, dark green foliage and bears masses of bright red, double flowers throughout summer. It's ideal for growing at the front of herbaceous borders and in pots, and also makes a fantastic low-growing hedge.

In common with many roses, Rosa 'Red Hat Lady' grows well in a variety of soil types but does better if mulched with well-rotted manure or compost. Hard prune in February and help prolong flowering by deadheading regularly, and adding a high potash feed every fortnight in summer.
