Canary creeper, Tropaeolum peregrinum, is a pretty climber with deeply divided palm-shaped leaves and masses of yellow flowers in summer. It's perfect for growing up a sunny wall and is nice for the greenhouse too.

Grow Tropaeolum peregrinum in well-drained soil in full sun, ideally in a sheltered spot such as in front of a south- or west-facing wall. In mild regions it can be left outside all year round but is otherwise best treated as an annual.
