Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum 'Dart's Red Robin' is a spreading, tiered shrub that has large white lacecap flowers in spring and early summer. These are followed by abundant red berries and colourful foliage in autumn. It makes a good specimen shrub in a mixed border and also works well in Japanese garden schemes.

Grow Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum 'Dart's Red Robin' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Mulch annually with well-rotted manure or compost, and remove vertical shoots to retain the shape of the shrub, after flowering.
