Cultivars of Portulaca grandiflora are exotic-looking plants bearing succulent, light green leaves and large double or semi-double flowers. Portulaca 'Tapas' bears semi-double and double flowers in a range of intense colours. Grow in moist but well-drained soil in a sheltered spot in full sun.
