One of several rhododendrons bred by Sir Edmund Loder, Rhododendron ’Loderi Pink Coral' bears delightful pink flowers with an incredibly strong fragrance, in early May. Blooms open a deep pink but quickly mature to pale pink-white. A tall-growing variety, it’s ideal for growing at the back of a large ornamental border, or on its own as a central focal point.

Grow Rhododendron ’Loderi Pink Coral' in humus-rich, moist but well-drained neutral to acidic soil. Rhododendrons are shallow-rooted so take care not to plant too deeply. Protect from harsh winter winds and mulch annually with a generous layer of leaf mould. There should be little or no need to prune.
