Veronicastrum virginicum ‘Fascination’ bears elegant, tall racemes of lilac-blue flowers from midsummer, which are a magnet for bees and other pollinators. It’s invaluable for adding long-lasting colour to the back of a border, and the bottle-brush flowers are excellent for cutting.
