Veronicastrum virginicum 'Fascination' bears elegant, tall racemes of lilac-blue flowers from midsummer, which are a magnet for bees and other pollinators. It’s invaluable for adding long-lasting colour to the back of a border, and the bottle-brush flowers are excellent for cutting.

For best results grow Veronicastrum virginicum 'Fascination’ in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering. Mulch with well-rotted manure or compost in autumn and divide congested clumps in spring.
