Vicia faba ‘De Monica’, is one of the earliest maturing broad bean varieties from a spring sowing. It has a strong root system and an upright growth habit, growing two-three stems per plant. Vicia faba ‘De Monica’ bears large yields of pods containing up to five large seeds, which are ready to harvest at the same time as winter sown variety ‘Aquadulce Claudia’.
