Wangenheimia lima is an annual ornamental grass, which bears unusual, feather- or herringbone-shaped seedheads on long, wiry stems, all summer long.

It's perfect for growing in a mixed ornamental border with prairie-style plants such as rudbeckias and Verbena bonariensis. It makes an excellent cut flower.
