Should indoor plants be on a stand?
As well as looking aesthetically very pleasing, creating a dynamic and eye-catching display, keeping your indoor plants on a stand has several other benefits, including the following:
- Light exposure: Stands can increase light exposure to your plants, which in turn will help maximize growth potential for some varieties. Not all house plants prefer lots of light.
- Air circulation: Positioning plants on stands can also enhance airflow around and underneath them. This will prevent excess moisture and also reduce the risk of pests.
- Maintenance: Having plants on stands can make them easier to access and therefore maintain more efficiently. Cleaning, watering and caring for plants at a convenient height makes for an easier job.
- Use of space: Plant stands are a great option if you have minimal floor space. They can allow you to display a selection of plants without overcrowding your living space.
