What is the Kent and Stowe Heart Shaped hand trowel like?
The pointed, heart-shaped head is made from carbon steel and powder coated to help prevent rust. Its shaped handle is crafted from FSC certified ash and the tang, or shaft, where the head joins the handle is angled to protect your knuckles when you’re working. It has a leather hanging strap for easy storage.
Is the Kent and Stowe Heart Shaped hand trowel comfortable?
Light and well-balanced this compact trowel sits comfortably in the hand. The wooden handle has contours in the all the right places to help you grip it perfectly and it was the right length for all the testers in our review.
Does the Kent and Stowe Heart Shaped hand trowel perform well?
This trowel’s pointed head makes it perfect for weeding, particularly in difficult, stony or congested soil where it slices though the ground easily. Its sharp, narrow shape and good depth help it get into tight spots, so it’s perfect for weeding and planting in amongst densely planted borders and on the veg plot. This trowel is ideal for all weeding, digging and planting tasks, it just lacks the head width for scooping compost and potting on.
Is the Kent and Stowe Heart Shaped hand trowel value for money?
This is a strong, well-made trowel that’s durable and long lasting. It’s ideal for almost all tasks and with its ten-year warranty we think it’s very good value for money.
