What are the Corona Ratchet Cut Comfort Gel Anvil secateurs like to use?
These secateurs have a non-stick coated, high carbon steel blade with a metal anvil. A four-gear, heavy duty ratchet mechanism helps them slice through even the toughest wood cleanly and easily – through a series of cuts you apply pressure, release, apply pressure, release, continuing until the blades have cut the stem. They have a cutting width of 20mm and the aluminium handles have a gel grip which is soft in the hand, although it does feel a little sticky if it gets wet. The safety catch is in between the two handles and is supposed to disengage by squeezing the handles but this doesn’t always work and it’s then tricky to close with one hand. It can also only then be pushed on or off when held in the right hand. They feel weighty in the hand but are sturdy, robust secateurs.
Are the Corona Ratchet Cut Comfort Gel Anvil secateurs good value for money?
These tough secateurs are built to last and cut tough wood well. They come with a 10 year warranty and we think they are very good value for money.
Who are the Corona Ratchet Cut Comfort Gel Anvil secateurs most useful for?
Only for right handed gardeners these are just the thing for cutting thick, tough wood easily. They are ideal for those who are less able or find it difficult to grip.
