How is the RHS Everflow Garden Hose made?
This hose is made with a resilient blend of PVC and has ‘Everflow technology’, which means it has a central core throughout the hose that keeps the water flowing even when it’s twisted, crushed or knotted.
It contains no phytotoxic chemicals and is phthalate free so it’s safe to use and is UV resistant. It can cope with a range of temperatures from -20°C up to 65°C.
What is the RHS Everflow Garden Hose like to use?
Dubbed the ‘unstoppable hose’, The RHS Everflow Garden Hose is a truly excellent performer. The water does indeed keep on coming even when there’s a kink but in our test, this was rarely an issue as the hose is extremely effective at self-straightening. It’s light, flexible and easy to use. The surface is smooth but it still gripped around corners and into the connectors well. It was great at uncoiling but its self-straightening abilities made it trickier to recoil after use.
What jobs is the RHS Everflow Garden Hose best used for?
With a burst pressure of 30 bars, this is a great hose for everyday watering and cleaning jobs with a spray gun on the end. With its ability to cope with low temperatures it can be used all year round and it comes in 25m, 50m and 100m lengths, so it’s ideal for gardens of all sizes.
Is the RHS Everflow Garden hose good value for money?
An impressive performer, this hose also comes with connectors and a spray head. At £1.44 a metre and with a lengthy 30-year guarantee it’s excellent value for money.
