What are the Wolf Garten Multi-Change® Roller Moss Removal Rake’s main features?
This rake scarifier is part of the Wolf Garten Multi-Change® tool system, so you simply click the shaft into the lock to secure it into the base – no need for screwdrivers or fiddly catches. Made from high-quality plastic and rust-proof aluminium, it’s lightweight and easy to use – an important consideration given the manual labour involved in scarifying a lawn.
What’s the Wolf Garten Multi-Change® Roller Moss Removal Rake like to use?
While this rake scarifier has the potential to leave lawns looking quite ravaged, used with appropriate care, it leaves the lawn looking fresh. The wheels are a useful feature as they help to pull the scarifier smoothly over the lawn. The blades are made from hardened steel, so they’ll stay sharp over their lifetime, and the head is 30cm wide, which is fairly standard among the other manual scarifiers we tested. The handle features a soft grip for comfort, and although it isn’t telescopic like the Darlac manual scarifier, it’s part of the Multi-Change® tool system so there’s a range of different lengths to choose from. It also doesn’t come with a collection bag, but you can buy the Longspan rake head in this range, to gather up the debris.
Who is the Wolf Garten Multi-Change® Roller Moss Removal Rake most useful for?
If you have a small to medium sized garden and are happy to have some exercise it’s the perfect tool. It’s also good if storage is an issue and you use other tools in the Wolf Garten Multi-Change® range.
Is the Wolf Garten Multi-Change® Roller Moss Removal Rake good value for money?
It’s not the cheapest of its type (similar tools range from £25 to £65), but the construction is sturdy and the blades are durable and built to last. It also comes with a 35 year long warranty and can be used with other tools in the range, which we think makes it great value.
