Dianthus 'Pink Kisses' is a hardy perennial with scented, bi-coloured double flowers. The flowers are a rich pink with a dark red centre, with the pink fading to a paler shade over time. The long flowering nature of 'Pink Kisses' and its bright pink blooms make it a colourful choice for summer containers or for brightening the front of borders. It produces a mass of blooms from June through to September. The foliage is an attractive colour and evergreen, adding interest all year round.
'Pink Kisses' will thrive in a sunny spot, with rich, well drained soil. Add compost or well-rotted manure to the soil before planting if needed. Dianthus are low maintenance and easy to look after. Keep deadheading to encourage more flowers to form and water well until established. Feed each spring with a balanced fertiliser. As this plant is a perennial, it will come back every year.
