Hello,

Could anybody please give me any idea as to what this is, and if it is worth keeping?

Thanks

might be lily of the valley.

Looks like Lily of the Valley to me to, and it won't be long till it flowers, such a lovely scent.  Here in the NE mine's just poking it's nose out. It does spread when it's happy but doesn't cause a problem.

PS it looks like a foxglove behind it.

It is Lily of the Valley, just looked at a plant in a pot in my garden this morning and it has now flowered and that is what it is.
