Last year I planted 4 trees which had berries.   None of the trees had berries this year.  Any ideas why?

Apart from the reasons we gave on the thread linked to above, the  almost continual heavy rain and cool weather which caused a significant lack of pollinating insects this spring is likely to have something to do with it.

Next year to look forward to then!

Hi Rosebud. I have a similar problem and like me,you will have to be patient.

Thanks for the solidarity Dolores2, we can touch base again next season!

Of course it could be a male tree! Has it berried before? If so, then everyone here is right re pollinators etc.
