man in a shed

Hello all , my toms are starting to ripen now , the plant still as lots of flowers , should I snip these off because I don't think they will have time to fruit , this will make the plant put it's energy into the ripening toms ? thx

I think you have answered your own question! If we get a very mild Autumn some more may ripen but it depends on what you want to do  especially if you want to overwinter plants in your greenhouse, you will be wanting to clear the toms by October at the latest.

Yes - I'd take those off now. Plants only have a finite time to flower, set fruit and ripen, and it's really too late now for that.

Any fruit which has started to turn will be fine, but it's highly unlikely any flowers would have enough time to complete the process - even ones which are undercover would struggle.
