Hi all, Having completed an extension on my house, garden is the last bit of work to be completed. I decided (although I might be regretting it now) to take out a raised area at the back of my garden. This has left a foot high soil bank with hedges on. My query is what plants could I plant at the base to house the soil bank? I'm a very inexperienced gardener so the easier to maintain the better. Thanks in advance. Louise.

Cotoneaster for one.  There'll be lots of suggestions along soon when the site is sorted out.

Pyracantha?, Lonicera, one of the gold ones. Maybe even lavender. A  pic would help.
