Hi all...are any of you able to identify this plant for us please? I'm wondering if it's a weed?

Euphorbia lathyris or caper spurge. Wear gloves while handling.  The white sap will burn the skin when exposed to sunshine.

I treat it as a weed, especially in the vegetable garden.

I like it, but only in small doses. it is supposed to keep moles away, but doesn't in my garden.

It doesn't in my garden either. Wonder who thought it did?

Probably started as "I have Euphorbia in my garden,I also have no moles so the Euphorbia keeps moles away".

The Psychiatrist was escorting a patient from one Psychiatric Hospital to another. They were travelling by train, and the Psychiatrist was intrigued to see the patient tearing up bits of paper and throwing them out of the window.

“What are you doing that for?” asked the Psychiatrist.

“It’s to keep the elephants away !” answered the patient.

“But there are no elephants in Surrey,” pointed out the Psychiatrist.

“Effective, isn’t it?” was the logical answer.
