I have an old Yucca house plant which is looking very tired and I am going to try to start off two new plants from the side shoots, however I'm not sure how to go about it. Should I just cut the shoots off and pot them up or should I leave the cut shoots to harden first? Any advice would be welcome.

Hello,

I've not grown Yuccas but have just consulted "my bible" Dr Hessayon- house plant expert. He says simply remove & plant up offsets. I would choose largest & healthy ones.

I have followed his advice for years so dont think you can go far wrong.

Good luck with them
